In fall 2018, Cabot Microelectronics (CMC) acquired KMG Chemicals. Together, the combined entity consisted of 10 ERP systems across 40-plus sites in 12 countries. In 2019, CMC and Accenture partnered to develop CMC’s ERP vision and strategy as well as a road map to deliver its “Business Platform of the Future,” a multi-year journey to reimagine its processes, data, technology, and organization.
