How will util­i­ties in the future adapt in an ever-chang­ing envi­ron­ment to hav­ing sys­tems that can sus­tain the new-world com­plex­i­ties in man­ag­ing the grid? With the increas­ing need to impact and shape peak demand and shift ener­gy loads, util­i­ties will need to have sys­tems and pro­grams in place to expand demand response past just large com­mer­cial and indus­tri­al customers.

In this ses­sion, SAP will be pre­sent­ing a for­ward-look­ing view of how its tech­nol­o­gy and capa­bil­i­ties can assist cus­tomers, grid oper­a­tors, and util­i­ties in imple­ment­ing and oper­at­ing effec­tive demand response pro­grams across the entire end-to-end val­ue chain to help cre­ate a clean ener­gy future. 

The learn­ing objec­tives of this ses­sion include:

• How cur­rent offer­ings from SAP can meet the end-to-end require­ments of demand response pro­grams today
• How demand response is cru­cial to accel­er­at­ing clean ener­gy adop­tion pow­ered by dis­trib­uted ener­gy resources
