When the Nex­pe­ria semi­con­duc­tor com­pa­ny imple­ment­ed the SAP BW/4HANA solu­tion, it did not have a prop­er secu­ri­ty strat­e­gy in place to grant con­trolled data access to the busi­ness ware­house users who are con­nect­ing direct­ly on SAP HANA. Nex­pe­ria and SAP teams joint­ly designed a secu­ri­ty con­cept, includ­ing a state-of-the art autho­riza­tion con­cept, togeth­er with best prac­tices for secu­ri­ty on SAP HANA.
