In this ses­sion we will dis­cuss the var­i­ous phas­es of a tech­ni­cal con­ver­sion. Before start­ing, we will show how to check source sys­tem require­ments for tech­ni­cal block­age or pre-work required to meet the min­i­mal require­ments for SAP S/4HANA and DMO of SUM. Then dive into the con­ver­sion process in a project sce­nario with in depth dis­cus­sion of the Uptime and Down­time phas­es of DMO of SUM.

Van Vi serves as a SAP S/4HANA Prod­uct Expert in the Region­al Imple­men­ta­tion group for the Amer­i­c­as region and also a Prac­tice Engi­neer in the Dig­i­tal Busi­ness Ser­vices. He has been work­ing in the SAP indus­try for 21 years. His spe­cial­ty lies in the area of SAP archi­tec­ture, inte­gra­tion, SAP HANA migra­tions, SAP S/4HANA projects, and under­ly­ing Basis component.
