Hosted by: Utilities Industry
Unlike other industries or activities that have coalesced around a given maturity model or framework, the discipline of enterprise architecture has seen over a dozen models developed to measure maturity. Given the need to measure maturity in a uniform way across the utility industry but with a desire to measure characteristics that reflect the value with which enterprise architecture teams are held, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI ) Enterprise Architecture Collaboration Group (a supplemental research part of the EPRI Enterprise Architecture and Integration program) developed the “Top Ten Indicators of Enterprise Architecture Maturity.”
This survey is design to be completed in a few minutes and gives a “back of the envelope” state of an enterprise architecture practice.
In this session, viewers will hear the why and how of the development of this tool and how the EPRI enterprise architecture research program has been structured to help address utility architecture challenges.
Attendees will also learn insights and learnings on EPRI’s experience with Enterprise Architecture at Utilities.
Speakers:
Dr. Gerald R. Gray, Sr. Program Manager - Enterprise Architecture & Integration, EPRI
