A hot top­ic of dis­cus­sion at SAP is Busi­ness Process Improve­ment (BPI). With the acqui­si­tion of Sig­navio and oth­er offer­ings in this space, there is a renewed effort to help orga­ni­za­tions build a strong busi­ness process foun­da­tion for an intel­li­gent enter­prise. We will answer ques­tions regard­ing what BPI is, how to get start­ed, and how this inte­grates into your over­all enter­prise archi­tec­ture. In pre­vi­ous enter­prise archi­tect (EA) Think Tank ses­sions, we have not dis­cussed the role of Busi­ness Archi­tects (BAs) and the tools they need to be more effec­tive. We will address this top­ic dur­ing this meeting.
